We are thrilled to invite you to an exciting and creative day of Stop Motion Animation at the RVA Learning Center in Mosinee! Get ready to embark on a journey into the world of animation, where you'll have the chance to bring your imagination to life, frame by frame.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Animation: Dive into the fascinating world of stop-motion animation, where you'll learn the art of making objects and characters come alive through the magic of frame-by-frame movement.

  • Guidance: I will guide students through the process, sharing tips and tricks to help you create your own stop-motion masterpiece.

  • Creative Freedom: You'll have the freedom to choose your own storyline, characters, and props. Let your imagination run wild!

  • Collaboration: Work in teams or individually, collaborating with fellow students to create unique animations that will leave you amazed. We will have movie time at the end of the workshop for students to share their creations!

What to Bring:

  • Your Chromebook and charging cord

  • Your enthusiasm and creativity!

  • Any props or materials you'd like to use in your animation (optional - we will have materials here for students).

Get ready to showcase your strategic skills, enjoy some friendly competition, eat delicious pizza, and possibly win fantastic prizes!

What to Expect:

  • Board Games: Challenge your friends to classic board games like Monopoly, Scrabble, and Chess. Test your wits and strategy as you aim for victory!

  • Bingo: Get your bingo cards ready and shout "BINGO!" as you mark off the numbers. Win fabulous prizes while enjoying the thrill of the game.

  • Snacks and Refreshments: We'll have delicious snacks and refreshments to keep your energy up as you dive into the games, including pizza lunch.

"If I Lived in a Snowglobe" A Creative Writing Event

Please join us for this fun creative writing event! This event will be aimed at students in grades 6-12.

Please bring your RVA Chromebook if you can!

Students will focus their writing on sensory language, creative writing technique, mood, tone by writing a creative story based on the prompt, “If I lived in a snowglobe”. Students will take home their projects at the end of the meeting.

If a student would like to write or begin writing prior to our meeting - they are more than welcome to do so!
